We have plenty of options dependent on how much time you have and what species you would like to hunt. There are two options: Wilderness hunt or Private land hunt.
Wilderness hunt
Wilderness hunts take place in the most spectacular and remote parts of the Southern Alps. This is the real New Zealand hunting experience. Wilderness hunts in New Zealand require high levels of fitness and perseverance. On a Wilderness hunt a scenic helicopter flight is used to drop us into a remote location with either Tahr / Chamois or sometimes both in close proximity. Where a basecamp is set up with comfortable wall tents. These hunts require 5-10 days hunting, with a day of travel each side.
Private Land Hunt
Free range private land hunts are still physically demanding, with awesome scenery as well. Private land can have higher animal numbers and 4WD drive access to either comfortable farm houses or back country huts. We have a number of private land hunting properties with Red Stag, Tahr, Chamois, Fallow Deer, Pigs and small game. Good to moderate fitness is required on a private land hunt as we’re still hunting in the mountains. Private land hunts require a minimum 5 days hunting with a day either side for travel.
